Shed removal in Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch typically runs $450–$1,650 flat-rate, including full teardown, haul-away, and disposal at Lena Road Landfill. Small metal or resin sheds start at $450. Standard 8x10 wood sheds land around $750–$950. Large 10x16 or 12x20 sheds with concrete pads or lofted floors run $1,200–$1,650. No hourly billing, no per-pound fees, no fuel or gate surcharges anywhere in ZIPs 34211, 34202, 34212, 34208, or 34203.

What's Actually Involved in a Shed Removal

A shed removal isn't a junk haul — it's demo plus haul-away. Our crew arrives with sledgehammers, sawzalls, pry bars, and a 12-foot dump trailer. We dismantle the shed panel by panel, load the debris, and haul it in a single visit. Concrete pads can stay or go (extra fee if going). The turf underneath is left rakeable.

Most Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch sheds we take down fall into one of these categories:

    • Rotted wood sheds in the older 34205 and 34209 Bradenton neighborhoods — soft framing, roof sagging, floor gone through in one corner.
    • Hurricane-damaged sheds anywhere near the water after storm season — twisted metal, wind-lifted roofs, or sheds off their footings.
    • HOA-forced removals in Lakewood Ranch (34211, 34202) — a shed that was fine 10 years ago is now a violation letter because it wasn't in the original CC&Rs.
    • Estate teardowns on properties going to market where the buyer's inspector flagged the shed as a liability.
    • Upgrade replacements — the old wood shed comes down before the new resin one goes up.

    Real Shed Removal Pricing (2026)

Volume, materials, and site access drive the number. Here's what real jobs look like across Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch:

Shed size / typeTypical scopeFlat-rate range
    Small metal or resin (6x8, 8x8)Panel disassembly + haul$450 – $650
    Standard wood (8x10, 10x10)Full demo + haul$750 – $950
    Large wood (10x16, 12x16)Multi-day demo + haul$1,100 – $1,400
    XL wood or lofted (12x20+)Full teardown, 2-truck load-out$1,400 – $1,650
    Concrete pad removal add-onSawcut + haul+$400 – $650

All pricing includes labor, sawzall/sledge demo, dump trailer haul-away, and Manatee County disposal fees. Nails and screws are magnet-swept before we leave.

    What Bumps the Price Up

    • Concrete slab removal — sawcut and haul is a separate flat add-on. Most homeowners leave the pad and let the new shed sit on it.
    • Buried tie-downs / footings — occasionally we hit auger anchors set in concrete. Priced case-by-case if it turns into a real dig.
    • Contaminated contents — if the shed is full of paint, chemicals, or old pesticides, we route hazmat separately (Manatee County ECO Center is free for residents; we haul on your behalf for a small routing fee).
    • Roof and wall shingles — cedar shakes or asphalt shingles add weight; usually built into the flat rate unless it's an XL shed.

    What Never Costs Extra

    • Being inside a gated Lakewood Ranch village (Country Club East, River Club, Waterlefe, Polo Run, Del Webb)
    • Long back-of-property carries — most sheds sit 100+ feet from the driveway
    • Distance anywhere inside our priority ZIPs — 34211, 34202, 34212, 34208, 34203
    • Weekend or evening pickup within our operating window
    • HOA coordination (we can email the ARC office a copy of insurance if needed)

    The Shed Removal Process

    1. Photos or a walk-around video. Most quotes go out within the hour. If we need to see it in person (older sheds, weird framing), we'll swing by same-week.
    2. Firm flat-rate quote. Locked in before we lift a hammer. No mid-job "we found rot" surprises — Florida sheds rot; we've priced for it.
    3. Utility check. If the shed has a run of electrical from the house, we confirm the breaker is off before demo. We do not touch active gas lines; that's on the homeowner or a licensed plumber.
    4. Demo day. Panel-by-panel disassembly is faster and cleaner than a swing-through. Roof first, walls next, floor last. Everything goes into the trailer as we cut.
    5. Site cleanup. Rake, magnet-sweep for nails, and drive out. If the pad is staying, it gets swept. If it's going, we sawcut and haul in a second visit.

Most Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch shed removals are done in a single day. XL sheds or shed + pad combos run two visits.

Neighborhoods We Remove Sheds From Most

    • Country Club East, Polo Run, Lakewood National (34211) — HOA-driven removals, often preparing to install a code-compliant replacement.
    • River Club and Waterlefe (34212) — larger lots with older workshop-sized outbuildings.
    • West Bradenton (34209) and Palma Sola — 30+ year-old wood sheds finally at end of life.
    • East Bradenton (34208, 34203) — Tara, Peridia, and SR-64 corridor teardowns tied to home sales or new construction.
    • Del Webb & Cresswind (34202, 34211) — small resin sheds going away as owners downsize.

A shed removal is one of our most common light demolition jobs. Text photos, get a flat rate within the hour, and see the Bradenton or Lakewood Ranch service pages for full coverage. Same-week bookings almost always available.
